Independent Education and Training Committee Member


Penny Joyce is a Principal Fellow with the Higher Education Academy and works as an Associate Head for Education at the University of Portsmouth. An HCPC registrant Operating Department Practitioner and previous HCPC partner for more than 10 years, with significant experience working in quality assurance of education programmes and within curriculum design, planning and approval. This is with both regulatory and professional bodies as well as within higher education with the Quality Assurance Agency.

Penny's interests lie in the quality aspects of curriculum delivery in relation to the student learning experience for practice placements; with professionalism of aspiring practitioners a particular interest.
