We launched our Welsh Language Scheme (the Scheme) in 2011. Since then, we have completed annual implementation reports on the Scheme for the Welsh Language Commissioner's attention.
In 2022 the Welsh Language Commissioner introduced new Welsh Language Standards for regulators, which replaced our previous Welsh Language Scheme.
From 6 December 2023, the HCPC was required to be compliant with 66 standards which are split into five categories. More information can be found in the report.
We look forward to engaging further with the Welsh Government in the development of Welsh Language Standards and continuing to meet our commitments to the Welsh-speaking public.
