We regularly review our policies to ensure that they are fit for purpose.
We have updated the following Partner policies:
Dignity at work policy
Effective sexual harassment prevention training should be part of an ongoing, prevention-focused communication process. That is how we can truly work to shape behaviour, reduce sexual harassment and mitigate risk. Like the eLearning, the messaging that we have on preventing workplace sexual harassment is firmly rooted in our dignity at work policy and the HCPC's culture.
Safeguarding policy
The purpose of the safeguarding policy is to outline our safeguarding responsibilities, so that our staff and partners are aware of their safeguarding obligations, and to ensure that any safeguarding concerns are dealt with and escalated appropriately.
Whistleblowing policy becomes Speaking up policy
The HCPC is committed to being open and accountable and maintaining high ethical standards in everything we do. We want all employees and everyone who works with the HCPC to feel able to speak up when they have any concerns and know that they will be listened to. Speaking up at work will help the HCPC to keep improving how we protect the public, support our registrants and provide a positive working environment.
