We’re committed to being a fair and inclusive regulator and ensuring that our services are accessible to everyone regardless of race, gender, ability, religion, sexual orientation or age
In order to make sure the steps we take to be fair and inclusive are appropriately informed, we need to understand the characteristics of our registrants and other stakeholders.
Over the coming weeks, we will be emailing you to ask you to complete an equality monitoring form. You don’t have to complete it but, if you do, it would help us make sure that you and everyone we work with can interact with the HCPC free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
We understand that you may not want to answer some of the questions, so we have included an option for ‘prefer not to say’. But the more information you provide us, the better able we are to improve our services.
All information we collect around equality and diversity will be treated confidentially in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and our privacy policy. Access to this information will be restricted to staff involved in the processing and monitoring of this data. It will be used to provide statistical information only.
If you have any questions about this, please get in touch with the Policy team.
