Keep records of your work

As a student you should:

  • make sure that the records you keep are clear and accurate.
  • help to protect records from being damaged, lost or accessed by someone without permission.
  • follow your education provider’s or practice placement provider’s policy on record keeping.

What the standard says:


  • Cadw cofnodion cywir

    10.1 Rhaid i chi gadw cofnodion llawn, clir a chywir ar gyfer pawb yr ydych yn gofalu amdanynt, yn eu trin neu’n darparu gwasanaethau eraill iddynt.

    10.2 Rhaid i chi gwblhau pob cofnod yn brydlon a chyn gynted â phosibl ar ôl darparu gofal, triniaeth neu wasanaethau eraill.

    10.3 Rhaid i chi gadw cofnodion yn ddiogel trwy eu hamddiffyn rhag colled, difrod neu fynediad amhriodol.
